2025 Asian American Pioneer Medal Symposium and Ceremony

Friday, July 25 – Sunday, July 27, 2025 | Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA

Engage with a distinguished community of scholars, researchers, and thought leaders. This event serves as a platform to critically explore the unique contributions of and challenges faced by Asian Americans in academia and STEM, fostering collaborative dialogue and actionable strategies for systemic change.

Announcements:

  • We are super excited to share the trailer of Making Waves: The Rise of Asian America documentary which we are honored to be included in!

  • The Commission on the State of Hate (Commission) was established to assist California with monitoring, preventing, and responding to hate. Based on research, consultations with experts, and public input, the Commission recommends—on an interim basis at this time because the Commission’s work is ongoing—19 policies and three sets of tools to combat hate. This second Annual Report explains each recommendation along with the supporting evidence. It also includes a detailed review of the state of hate in California and a summary of the Commission’s key activities from July 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024.

Kudos:

  • Kudos to Hudson for representing AYR at AANHPI In Power, a panel discussion at USC on April 17. You can read his blog post on the events blog on our website as soon as it’s posted
